Re: mCRC Stage IV mets to LV and LN - what can we do more?

Sorry to hear you are at this point. Once we are stage IV, the oncologists offer us nothing. So your alternative therapy may have benefits. Here’s praying for you to heal.I began the Fenbendazole protocol 8 weeks ago. I can use everyone’s prayers.

Re: Fasting and LARS

I must report that my Colorectal Surgeon told me to take Konsyl psyllium fiber, as it forms a gel around the poop and is known to help prevent colon cancer. It keeps my BMs regular and soft. Ever since my surgery 14 years ago every colonoscopy has shown a clean pink colon. :) I fast continually. Hav...

Re: 14 yrs later: alive but metastatic: Radiation tomorrow

Thanks for the replies and care. The nebulizer does work. I began with only a mouthpiece to inhale. I returned to the DME and bought a mask, which makes it more natural to use. When I saw the Radiation Onc on Monday, she noticed that I was not coughing as much. :) The Pulmonologist said that there w...

Re: 14 yrs later: alive but metastatic: Radiation tomorrow

As of now I have completed 8 of 15 treatments. You can't feel the radiation. They tell me not to expect much in side effects. They will analyze attrition of the tumor by a CT done 3 weeks after the final radiation. So I won't have a medical report until the end of August. Until then I need prayers a...

Re: 14 yrs later: alive but metastatic: Radiation tomorrow

Guys, I wish the Onc would listen to you and these links. For now, I have to pray that my body's immune system is strong, and will hold up to the radiation and go and kill more cancer. This morning I did my 2nd dose of IMRT radiation. The treatment team seems skilled. But the newest machines rely on...

Re: Progress in Immunotherapy for MSS

fellow clubbers, Thanks for the info and the links. My Onc was funded by Pharma for a phase II study, which went really well. But since I wasn't in it, I cannot get the Immunotherapy (which was shown to be working). The drug company has not yet decided to move on Phase III: so no offer to provide th...

14 yrs later: alive but metastatic: Radiation tomorrow

I have been isolating during the Covid era due to CRC tumors in my lungs. Praying, fasting and regularly partaking of the Body & Blood of Christ. Have felt good. But now the tumor has grown & conglomerated in my lung, trying to choke my airway. Causing me to cough-up mucus with blood. I need...

Re: Disease progression on Folgiri Avastin

Beach Sunrise, Nice to hear your protocol. Many of us here understand that we are all different, and that there is no "one size fits all" treatment that works. So we aren't Doctors proscribing treatment. Since I turned stage IV three years ago, I had to comprehend that there is nothing the...

Re: Rectal cancer (Stage 3A) diagnosed late June 2017

Mike, Here’s praying that the spinal indication is just scatter and not a real concern. Some days I eat yogurt and skip the probiotic pill. My surgeon had recommended Align which is OTC. A pharmacist recommended Florajen3, which requires Refrirgeration and is also over the counter. I used it for a w...

Re: Had Seizure- in Hospital 4 days

Months have passed. I’m doing well. Very happy for my blood counts to be normal: to enable innate immune system to fight off many sicknesses, especially viruses. I isolate and if out wear an N-95 mask to filter what I breathe. We who have cancer must be extra cautious. When I return from the cancer ...

#1. It’s obvious that each person will form his/her own opinion and choice on using the vaccine. This group has always been good for sharing information and a variety of experiences. ORIGIN OF THE SARS COV-2: Nothing certain is publicly available. I read that two Level 4 Laboratories in the US were ...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

Guys, all good thoughts. No-way will I take an experimental vaccine. The RNA creation by itself is scary enough. Clearly they haven’t tested these on people with cancer. Much less patients undergoing treatment....nor all the different kinds of chemicals infused into us. I’m already biased since I be...

Re: In need of metastasis education

Jsbsf, I suggest you search for a highly skillful colorectal surgeon and ask for a second opinion. My surgeon is an old friend. He has saved peoples lives; and improved lives of many. I seen him tear-up when telling of people who saw him after a permanent colostomy; at which time he could not undo. ...

Re: New here

Welcome newbie dark-horse, sorry you are here, but you came to a good place. Get with the experts ASAP. Then get a second opinion as necessary. Most importantly: find a skilled Colorectal Surgeon. I have never heard of a neuroendrocrine carcinoma; so I suggest both searching online (Mayo & NIH) ...
