Re: New trial kras inhibitor

Hey Mark,

If you don’t mind me asking, where are you based? In the states?
Also, I see from your signature you had some chest nodes radiated. How many were involved?

Many thanks in advance for sharing!

Berberine and Quercetin also good ones to include imo.
Beta glucans we found kept us going to the toilet a little too frequently

Re: LARS. Any tips?

So sorry sfok09, I'm only seeing your post now. Well, I can't tell for sure because it's my husband who's using it (and it's a very private topic), but from what I can read online, some bidets have that function, and I believe ours does. I'm sorry I can't be more precise! Claudine! Long time! How i...

Need some thoughts/ideas

Hey everyone, Hope doing as well as can be. It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted anything, aside from commenting back here and there. I guess my mental health is taking a bit of a battering this week so I find myself here seeking some guidance. Essentially, my partner who was originally diagn...

Re: CT Scan today

zephyr, I was studying your signature. Would you say that your lung nodules have been stable since you started the Folfox/Avastin regimen few years ago? I am being hopeful that it would give me few more years if I am prescribed that regimen. More like stable- ish . I've been bouncing between Folfir...

Re: FOLFOX rechallengers?

I’ve got a bone met in the acromion/scapula spine on my right shoulder. I read that bone Mets are a poor prognostic factor. I had radiation to the area the area twice the 1st time the pain went away but came back within 3 months. I got a second lot of radiation which fixed the pain again but now I’...

Rock Robster

Hi all, I’ve wondered whether to post for a few weeks and have now decided that I want to. I sadly found out a few weeks ago via Facebook that Rob passed away. He was one of the first people I spoke to when I joined this forum. He was so kind, patient, considerate and knowledgable. He always took th...

Re: MSS + TMB-High Immunotherapy

My husband’s cancer was in many lymph nodes—the surgeon removed 20+ and his nodes remained clear until about 2 months ago, when folfiri stopped working. Now he has 3 or 4 in the same para aortic area that are enlarged again. He’s done 2 rounds of bot/bal, but we won’t know whether it’s working unti...

Re: KRAS mutation trial

Hello - wondering if anyone has tried a KRAS mutation trial drug? I’m looking into it while I wait for TIL trial I should get into to open for crc. It is still a couple of months away and oncologist suggested this as it wouldn’t interfere with my eligibility for TIL. Again, interested if anyone has...

Re: Lung met

Hello, My cancer friend had 1 liver met 4 years ago. did chemo 12 cycles. I believe folfox and folfiri. She had her met surgically removed. Her oncologist put her on maintenance chemo for 4 years. Last week she had a 0.6 cm lung met removed surgically. She lives in Greece. The local medical team te...

Re: Stability of lung mets…

I’m doing ok. My chemo for now is just a Zirabev (bevacuzimab/avastin). Been having other health issues maybe from all the treatments but maybe cancer that’s keeping treatment light until they can figure it out. I think I’m trying to get every possible medical test devised. But I’m here plugging aw...

Botensilimab/balst trial…

The Marsden in the UK are currently recruiting for this in phase 1 which is interesting. Didn’t realise it had reached this side of the pond.

Can’t remember who was going on to this, or attempting to, but anyone have any experience of it, or is it on and how’s it going?

Re: Stability of lung mets…

Has anyone had longish term success where chemo has just kept the mets stable, but still visible on scans/similar. Looking for some nice stories that exclude NED :) We can only claim one lung nodule that disappeared, along with several liver nodules plus stability in multiple LN when immunochemo re...
