Re: How easy is it to differentiate between benign liver spots and small mets on a CT scan?

I have a similar problem ATM. A MRI in December showed a 5mm thing in my liver that the radiologist judged to be a cyst. Looking at my most recent CT scans, the thing is clearly visible (once you know it's there), but in the CT it's just a slightly darker spot in one slice. In the MRI you can make ...

Re: Maintenance Chemo Questions

Thanks everyone for the replies. I've talked to my cancer team and family about this, but it's very valuable to get perspective from the patients/caregivers. Hey. My husband is BRAF v600e as well. It's a beast of a mutation. I'd love to talk more about your journey thus far. Finding this forum a li...

Covid and chemo

Anyone contract Covid during active treatment? My husband had Covid, after he received his booster. He was asymptomatic. However, he now gets random symptoms where is heart is beating very rapidly. Has anyone experienced this?

Can liver mets be cured without surgery

I am searching for patients who have had liver mets and used integrative, or not, treatments, had near complete responses from chemo and were able to gain NED or minimal disease control without resection. Does this exist?

Re: Possible new recommendations on less Aspirin use

I consider the media howl likely part of the normal pincer movements to remove or restrict cheap therapies. First, comes the academic cautionary notes to pose a problem, sometimes in some ignorant or cocked way, carefully avoiding solutions and inconvenient facts. Tsk, tsk, tut, tut. Then comes the...

Re: Interested in chronomodulated Xeloda

Thanks for feedback. I read the book when first dx'd. I gained back weight but then lost it all again. Looking for a quick way but might not be possible. Someone mentioned lexapro really gives you an appetite but don't want to go that route. I added some high fat healthy foods. Sounds like Block tr...

Re: Interested in chronomodulated Xeloda

Markers all look good except IL8. It goes up and down for some reason. I have wondered if it does this because sometimes I walk the dogs before bloodwork. Idk. CEA has always been above normal. So, its anyones guess. I have scans every 3 months CAP CT, PET,MRI in intervals. Have a CAP CT, in a few ...

Re: Interested in chronomodulated Xeloda

PSK, whey protein ect. Things to work on microbiome? What cancer pathways are you targeting and with what? I am borderline stageIV if not already just not showing on scans yet. I am on a personalized low toxic ADAPT+++. Consists of xeloda (every day), IVC (9,100g total so far in one year), celebrex...

Re: Interested in chronomodulated Xeloda

I certainly would be interested to see the series of markers, inflammation markers and cytokines that you have to date vs doses. We have very little inflammation data presented as yet, and Block Center certainly could use more definition as an option here. As for adjuncts for BRAFv600 I might try t...

Re: Maintenance Chemo Questions

The difficulty is achieving good chemo sensitivity post Folfiri with Xeloda alone. Even the ADAPT formula, Xeloda with Celebrex added had difficulty with successful post Folfiri application for a percentage of patients. I do believe that there are a number of things that you could do to try to make...

Re: Has Anyone Any Experience With The Joe Tippens Protocol?

I don't have any info or advice but do want to tell this story: When my son was little, like 1st grade maybe, he went to play with a neighbor kid alot. Well, one day during the summer after a play date he had a stomach ache. He said his friends grandmother made him and his friend a weird drink. I c...

Re: Interested in chronomodulated Xeloda

@Rock_Robster liquid biopsies, targeted and general, show no CTC’s. We did Guardant and Biocept for CTC’s, KRAS and BRAF. Both came back as wild type, two sets, one from Feb and then August. I know BRAF is always a driver mutation. I’d like to keep the status quo w chronomodulated Xeloda, Vit C, Cur...
