I think the hardest thing is I have to fast 2 hours before taking the tablets and one hour after. I haven’t noticed any difference ...

Re: Red Light Therapy

I’ve read that red light at certain wave lengths activates methylene blue and destroys cancer cells. The problem is the light doesn’t penetrate deep into the body

Re: New trial kras inhibitor

Hi Bianca, I’m in Melbourne Australia. There were 2 lymph nodes in the chest that had radiation, unfortunately it didn’t work as they were still avid on the the next pet scan. After 3 months of chemo they were no longer avid on the pet scan.

Re: New trial kras inhibitor

The drug is called bgb-53038 made by beigene. My mutation is kras g12v, I read it’s one of the worst to have in regards to overall survival and recurrence. This drug is a pan kras inhibitor so it inhibits all the kras mutations. They did mention mention that drug but it only inhibits the kras g12c v...

New trial kras inhibitor

I’m starting a new trial that inhibits the kras mutation. This is a pan kras inhibitor so works on all the variations of kras mutations. The oncologist said there has been some success in other cancers that involve the kras mutation like pancreatic and lung cancer. Hopefully it shrinks the cancer an...

Folfiri

I’m on my 3 Rd round of folfiri and I’m not handling it well. I initially did folfoxiri and handled it so much my better. I’m taking the anti nausea meds but it helps very little I vomit at least 5 times on day 1 and 2. Does anyone have any advice or similiar experience? I was expecting this to be m...

Re: FOLFOX rechallengers?

I’ve got a bone met in the acromion/scapula spine on my right shoulder. I read that bone Mets are a poor prognostic factor. I had radiation to the area the area twice the 1st time the pain went away but came back within 3 months. I got a second lot of radiation which fixed the pain again but now I’...

Re: Pet scan

I had a repeat pet scan after radiation to shoulder and lymph nodes. The scan was 4 weeks after radiation to lymph nodes and approx 5 weeks after radiation to shoulder. The lymph nodes showed a partial response to radiation with a decrease in suv but the shoulder showed an increase in suv uptake whi...
