Overall it...

Re: New trial kras inhibitor

I’m starting a new trial that inhibits the kras mutation. This is a pan kras inhibitor so works on all the variations of kras mutations. The oncologist said there has been some success in other cancers that involve the kras mutation like pancreatic and lung cancer. Hopefully it shrinks the cancer a...

Re: Colectomy recovery expectations

Hi JPDALTON, this is Javi, from Spain. My primary was also in the splenic flexure so I ended up having left colectomy but no need for colostomy bag. The recovery took less than a month, I think, but i had open surgery, if you have laparoscopic surgery it may be faster for you. At the beginning even ...

Re: Recurrence with normal CEA??

A couple of thoughts and questions (probably not worth much) I guess the fact that the Liver enzymes are elevated makes you think that your husband might have Liver Metastasis, however liver mets very often cause CEA to elevate and your husband does not have that. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl...

Re: Nervous with recent symptoms

Hi Jared Your anxiety is understandable, however remember that the fact that you had blood in your stool is in not necessarily predictive of colorectal cancer (CRC), so even when that test is positive you are still much more likely not to have cancer than to have it. You can search FIT test CRC posi...

Re: Stage 2A N0M0 cea rising at four years

This is just 0.3 increase over the previous reading six months earlier but it also amounts to 23% increase which I f...
