Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Wee

I agree with Beach and the others—this is definitely a big win! In light of your trial team’s excitement, do you know what their specific innovation(s)/differentiation with this trial’s TIL approach is? Also, did they drop any hints as to whether you’re an outlier in their trial, or are they seeing...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Hi Dr G Just curious if Dr Rosenberg has seen my early results, and if so, in any comments/thoughts relayed to you and the team? REPLY Yep! The whole team including Dr. Rosenberg is very excited by the response we are seeing. He emphasized that we keep a close eye on your follow up. It does happen t...

Re: PET/CT tomorrow

Reply from Germany was they have not received packet. It is somewhere in the nets blackhole I guess. So sent hard copies thru DHL on the 13th. They will receive it Monday. So, another wait. Hopefully decision can be made fast. Consults here have all been pretty much the same so far. If it is in fac...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Impressive results so far! Wasn’t going to get too down if scans/bloods weren’t good. Not going to get too high with this latest news. But, it’s the first time in over a year and a half that I’m not living under a 24/7 damocles sword of imminent, inevitable self demise. I have hope. The cea of 1.4 ...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Thank you, everybody. I wasnt expecting good news headed up to md, but when I saw my cea (1.4) and confirmed it was the correct base/factor, I got a little anxious. I am beginning the 20 day artemisinin protocol tonight, will be alternating fenben and niclosamide dissolved in dmso each day, daily li...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

So……….nice to share some good news with the board. My cea is 1.4; down from a pre treatment 14 All the lesions are smaller. Many have holes and appear to be collapsing. The doctors all came to my room and were very excited. It’s early, but these are the best results that could have been prayed for. ...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Yesterdays bloodwork indicated a cea of 1.4 (down from 14 pretreatment)

Is this significant?

I don’t know. Will ask doctors today.

It isn’t a bad thing.

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Returned for my every three week keytruda infusion.

Will return in three weeks for another round of keytruda and my first scans since infusion.

The scans six weeks after those will be used to determine efficacy, or lack thereof.

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Oh, I am really looking forward to your results. If you don’t mind me asking how hard has this treatment been? Thank you, all. I am back home in fla now. Treatment was difficult. They took my immune system down to 0 (no wbc/no lymphocytes) and so I was neutropenic for weeks. I lost 15 lbs and all m...

Thank you, “markdale”.

Scans in 6 weeks and then 6 weeks after that.

The second set of scans will determine efficacy.

Re: Immunotherapy Experience & Advice

Thank you for the advice. We have never tried cbd products and will definitely avoid them. I’m sorry you had progression of your cancer. Hopefully it didn’t actually ramp up your cancer. I’ve seen your other post and hope your til treatment works. Thank you, nmorgan. I hope your immunotherapy works...

Re: Beginning TIL Therapy at NIH Next Week

Finished with 5 days of immuno suppressants (cyclophosphamide, fludabarine). My lymphocyte and monocytes counts are now 0; wbc is 1.2 K/mcL. Will do a treatment of keytruda today, then rest until the til cells are infused in a short procedure on friday. This will be followed within 24 hours by inter...
