Could be tumour bleeding, radiation-induced colitis, or another injury from radiotherapy. I’d suggest giving your rad onc or oncologist a call, and if it’s anything more than modest (s...

Re: Rectal Bleeding after SBRT Radiation

And its on both bowl and paper sometimes not all the time. I showed my doctor a pic and he didn't se...

MRI Showed Re occurence but PET & CT Looks Normal

Hello Everyone Hope everyone is doing okay. Well, I am still here alive and kicking. Yesterday I got a call from my oncologist who said that the MRI showed a new tumor. So the next step was to do a pet scan which came out normal everything looks fine and has no issues at all. I had a CT with contras...

Re: Pelvic Wall Treatment Best options

I hope it does not show up on the pet scan with the chemo. That is my goal. I don't think surgery is an option here. Since they could not even do a biopsy at all. And i just called from the doctor seems like no pills at all. Around 5 hours of chemo. Then i go home with the bag for 48 hours. I hate t...

Pelvic Wall Treatment Best options

Hello Everyone Well, I just finished talking to my doctor. She did not seem to eager to do surgery on me since the cancer is back on the pelvic wall. There were a lot of blood vessels there and they could not even do a biopsy. But he is 100% sure the cancer is back. So my regular oncologist gave me ...

Re: Grieving my past life and no one understands

Hey there you were the exact same age when I was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Please do not take what I am about to say as rude I am a very straightforward person and always asked the doctors to tell me the honest truth. I prefer it that way. Well, 1st off life isn't fair sorry to tell ...

Re: Well here we go again it's back...

So sorry to read this. Like Stu posted, hopefully just a bump in the road! Keep us posted... This makes me glad my husband’s onc finally requested a PET. Just like you, he’s gotten a series of clear scans, but his CEA is so high. With cancer, there’s no burying one’s head in the sand. Knowledge is ...
