Re: Stage 2A N0M0 cea rising at four years

I had the same procedure as you in 2016 at the age of 57.. Perfect bloodwork with no symptoms. It was found during a routine colonoscopy. I had 2 high risk factors...LVI and Grade 3 tumor. I started with Capox, but because I was allergic to Oxy, so I finished with 6 months of capecitabine. You can s...

Re: Bone density question and mental health issue ramblings

My doctor, gynecologist, sent me for a dexa scan 3 weeks after finishing chemo. I asked if it was to soon and he said no. I did the scan and it showed that I have osteopenia. I had one 2 years later and it improved....logically we know that chemo affects the bones, so I feel that he should have wait...

If I was low risk, my onc would not have put me on chemo. I guess I am having a hard time understanding why the Oncologist is recommending a chemo ...

My doctor counted it as the day of surgery because all cancer was removed. I am now in my 5th year and God willing, I will be released in December.

Re: Covid-19 vaccine advice

The only thing that I heard about lymph node swelling due to the vaccine is the underarm LN and breast. Women are being advised not to have a mammography until 6 weeks after receiving the Covid vaccine. Apparently, mammography results might show LN involvement and create a false positive for possibl...

Re: Covid 19 vaccine

I received my first dose of the Moderna vaccine on January 27th and the second dose on February 26th. First dose produced only a sore arm and slight headache. However, the second dose was a different story. Sore arm but 12 hours after the shot, I had a fever with chills and achy. This lasted for 24 ...
