Cea gone down again!
My cea has dropped again, now down to 13.9! If I wasn't a smoker(starting chantix to quit) it might be even lower. I love progress! Feeling crappy after 10th chemo, but just two more to go, also I'm looking forward to my surgery consult the month on the 24. After the 12 chemo a break to regain my strength to prepare for surgery.

Diagnosed april 23,2015 rectosigmoid
Starting CEA 1845
Port placement and liver bx April 27
Folfox started april 29
Avastin added on May 6
Stage IV crc with mets to 50% of liver
10/13/15 dc'd transfusion #12...toxic
Pet/ct scan on 11/3/15
20% liver resected all margins clear 11/30/15
8/18/15 cea 21.
9/15/15 cea 13.9
10/13/15 cea 14.4
1/22/2016 cea 2.5
LAR 02/15/16 all clear

Wow...reading your signature that is QUITE a drop from the number at diagnosis!! Always good to be going in the right direction.

When you feel crappy, think about that dramatic effect the drugs have made to your cea - it's kicking cancers butt!

Nov '14 cea 27.7 -2 liver masses
Dec '14 left lobectomy and HAI
Jan '15 FUDR and FOLFIRI
Aug '15 fudr done, liver clear, add avastin for lungs. Cea 4.3
Feb '16 CEA rising
May '16 2 wk break then drop Iri for 6 weeks.
Jul '16 cancer grew, constricted main bile duct. Stent inserted. On break till jaundice clears. CEA climbing. Doing reduced Folfox. Allergic to Oxali.
Sep'16 chemo failed. Trial or hospice?

Wonderful news. With two treatments to go it was pretty easy for me to just focus on the end date. I felt really crappy but the end was actually in sight. Lois
