Postby Ivona » Sat Mar 20, 2010 11:56 am

As per several suggestions on this board, I will start this year's In Memoriam post. Unpleasant, yes....important...very much so.

May they all rest in peace.

Boweltumor (and others who may be wondering), no one wants to forget anyone.
There is an earlier remembrance thread - 2009 Fallen Angels - which lists, links to memorial information and links to profiles of those people who passed in 2009.
The link here attaches both threads together going forward.

LizBiz has died. I don't remember what name she used here. She was only 34. Here's a note from her husband on the American Cancer Society forum.

On March 21, 2010,my wife passed away after a long battle with cancer. She had the HIPEC procedure done in Boston but her body could not seem to overcome the side affects and complications. Her name was Elizabeth Rumohr Wallner , I am not sure what her name was on this site. I love her and always will. To those who have cancer, please stay strong and brave.

my heart goes out to her family. Wow, 34 years old. Far too young.
I pray for everyone on here, for a long life for you, and for a cure for crc.
Luv and hugs,

With an extraordinarily heavy heart, I have to add my father, Aziz B., to this list. He was diagnosed stage IV on December 22, 2009, and passed away March 1, 2010. His fight was too short and too tough. I miss him so much every single day. But his battle has led to numerous family members getting colonoscopies, so maybe what he went through will end up saving someone else's life.

My father was an amazing father, grandfather, and friend, and I hate this disease for taking him away from us.

Thank you.
Daughter to a wonderful dad who was dx 12/23/09
Colon resection 1/8/10
Port implanted 2/9/10
Folfox4 started 2/15/10
Father passed away too soon 3/1/10
