2009 Fallen Angels

Postby Ivona » Mon Dec 28, 2009 5:31 pm

Well, with the new year, and the end of a decade soon upon us, I thought it would be nice if we all took the time to list all of our comrades who have fallen to this horrible disease in the past year.

I will start us off by listing:

Brady
Pammysue
Klryder
Jeremiah Moore
Paul (hubby of Wamo)
Shawn Felty
Lifes2short

May they all rest in peace.

Folfox Jan '09 - March '09
Xeloda March 24/09 - July 6/09

Another to add to the list - not on this board though. Just this morning a good friend's mother Helen Conlon passed away from colon cancer. She was dx'd just 6 weeks ago with stage IV. She seemed healthy up till then. So sad. This disease is a beast.

There are so many, all who have gone way too soon. Maybe there could be some memorial section where the names of all those who are gone could be listed.
Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

I haven't been on this board long. So sorry that so many have lost their battle with this crap. Hope next year will have a shoter list. Would be nice to see a big zero. Bless them all and their families. Paula
