Colon Club news from Hannah...

Postby Hannah » Fri Oct 09, 2009 12:08 am

Dear Colon Clubbers,

I wanted to give all of you a heads-up that a number of weeks ago, I let the Board know that I will be leaving The Colon Club. We have been working to get things transitioned over, and I will officially step down as an employee at the end of next week.

I hope you all know that you are my family, so IN NO WAY does this mean you are getting rid of me - I will be here, chiming in on the message board from time to time. And I hope it goes without saying that I will always, always respond to any and all messages from any Colon Clubber. I simply do not have the words to express what The Colon Club, and all of you, mean to me.

I have been the luckiest girl alive to do something I love for so many years, to get to wear my pajamas to work, and to help save lives. I’ve loved every day of it - maybe not every minute of every day, but every single day. I will miss being a part of it, but I leave knowing that The Colon Club is in great hands to move forward. Thanks for helping make the past eight years the best of my life.

Lots of love,
:)Hannah

Hannah,

OH my! I'm very sorry to see you leave and hope that everything is all right. I think I can speak for all of us when I say 'thank you' for helping found this board and everything that it stands for and more importantly all the good work, comfort, friendship and education that it has brought to so many!

I wish you well in whatever endeavors you are undertaking in the upcoming years and wish you the best of success in all that you will be doing. Don't forget to be ever diligent with your health and to make sure, at all costs, that you get screened and remember that colorectal cancer can be cured if caught early.

Thank you again so much Hannah. You've been an inspiration and a friend to all of us and I am positive that your cousin, Amanda, was so proud of you and what you did and have accomplished on her behalf and in her memory. Godspeed and we all wish you well.

Hugs,
Jaynee

Hannah,

I can not express to you how much this forum has meant to me as I've progressed down this two and half year journey living with colon cancer. Whatever road your new path takes you I wish you all the best and know that you will be successful.

Ian

What will the colonclub be without you! It's you and Molly. I'm glad you'll still be checking in on us. Thank you for everything you do around here. I'm a moderator for another site (snowmobiling) and I know it can be trying at times. You are patient and knowledgeable and will be terribly missed. I hope everything is O.K. with you healthwise.

God Bless You!
