Hi Skifletch,
I remember you so well, and am so delighted to hear you are still well, I passed my 13 yr cancerversary in January of this year.
Thanks for checking in, I often wonder how everyone is doing, this forum was an absolute lifeline for me when I was diagnosed, I still check into read every few months.
Survivors guilt seems to hang around most of us at some stage of recovery, once I got over the shock of actually still being here, I often wonder why I’ve seen so many beautiful people not make it long term.
Thanks also to all the old timers like myself who have commented on this thread, it’s just so good to see all your names popping up... I still miss, and will never forget our friends who didn’t make it this far !
Best wishes SkiFletch and to you all for the future x

Hi Skifletch,

For newcomers like me, It is inspiring to read your story.

Also to see all the answers from so many other oldtimers is a very encouraging thing!

Am I the only one frantically scanning the signatures and getting a little bit reassured and a little bit more hopeful every time someone's signature reads that they were diagnosed ten years ago?

Guys and gals, just by surviving and providing an update you are helping!

Big thank you, and good luck!

Congrats!

I was thinking about Dress in Blue day this coming Friday and randomly decided to check out the board. According to the stats it’s been 7 years since I last logged in, almost 9 since I lost Bill5107.

So glad to see some of his old CC pals doing well. I’m sure he’s still cheering you all on!
