Thanks Markdale! I take a laundry list of supplements and off-label drugs that I worked up with an integrative doctor here (happy to share if helpful), and my oncologist also has me doing intermittent fasting (16:8) and a cardio program as he believes both can potentially have great benefit for overall survival. I have a set of kettlebells that I look at often.

I went to a plant-based + seafood diet in Jan, but must admit I’ve been having chicken or red meat once every week or two lately now. The only things my doc summarily banned me from was smoking (which I never did anyway really), and processed meats (which I did enjoy a fair bit in the past). I try to drink less booze (mainly smaller amounts of red wine, when I do) and eat less sugar - but I’m definitely not a saint or depriving myself :). I think that’s about it!

Hope you’re doing well.

That’s great rob, it’s so good to hear that people are having good outcomes after a stage 4 diagnosis. I’m doing well, Chemo hasn’t been as bad as bad as I thought it would be but Its still early in the treatment. I’ve been considering the fasting, but will need to wait till chemo is over. I’ve always exercised, will push harder after treatment.
Anyway great to hear it’s going well mate

Hi, Rob. I'm two years clear from Stage IV b with local mets. Hang on in there, you can be a survivor, too! Crying as I write this, as it's emotional to get through this whole procedure, and I have lots of follow-up PET scans etc. coming up. But wishing you much luck in continuing to survive.

Congrats Rob! Nice hearing the good news and very happy you’re well. My husband too is around 1 year clear, but since we never really got an official date of his NED status, it’s around this time November to early December last year 2019. I’ll continue to pray for everyone’s good health :)
