riding his bike … AFTER diagnosis ( he actually hit 10,477 miles )
BUTT … 10,000 MILES after diagnosis ?

thank you for hanging in for all of us and for yourself...it's been awhile.
12 years for me.

I had a new primary lung spot that was resected two and a half years ago - it had been "watched" for many years and finally changed to malignant - but no recurrence so far.

As for the colon cancer, I've been NED now for 10 years after liver resection - 12 altogether from first diagnosis.

Ironically, after fighting for my life all this time, like we all have done, I find out that my dear spouse checked out emotionally 12 years ago. Seems cancer sucks the air out of the room (his words) so he's been looking for my replacement all along, betraying but keeping his image as a good guy intact. And I had no idea. Not an inkling. Just found out. I'm sure this happens to many good people. Long time ago, I learned not to feel especially sorry for myself. "it is what it is."

Maybe the important thing was I believed he was my partner, and that belief helped me heal. Now I will believe in myself by myself.

Anyway thank you again for all you have shared with the brave beautiful folks here. Love you all.

Thank you, crGuy. never far from my heart. don't know how I could have made it without you and all the precious people on this forum. There is hope and healing. I made it to see 2 grandbabies born in the last 3 years. Life is still sweet and we are strong. Yes, full of goodbyes, but also hellos. Hugs to all.

I still recall when you, SBL and the CR's hooked up for pizza and calzones in the Pacific NorthWET
and sent some pix down to jmarie

I love hearing from all the homies from back then, even if they don't always post regularly, it still shows
WE ARE CONNECTED
and it shows the forum that WE ARE STILL HERE
and we definitely have BEEN THERE ... done that.
