Ok guilty as charged
Those are my words from days past and,
thanks to Jacques for finding more lyrics I had almost forgotten !!

Yesterday prep was pretty uneventful, gladly.
Dulcolax 8 am, Pico Salax 2 pm and 8 pm
lots of clear fluids : apple juice, ice tea, water, beef consomme, lime and lemon Jello.
popsicles, lots of LifeSavers and in all ..... NOTHING red or purple colored.

Today colonoscopy :
with my CRC surgeon, sedation, IV fluids
sent 1 small "benign" polyp to the lab and I will do follow up with family doc once his report is there next week.

SO after 2 siggys and 6 full c-scopes ... THAT is where I be ...
Here and Now !

Should probably go and work on some more lyrics

Cheers and Harmony to all preppers and scopers this week

Enjoying the lyrics based on some of my old favorites! Glad your prep and scope went well, CRguy. My prep was pretty easy - 2 Fleets before I left home for my appt today. Sigmoidoscopy showed a good amount of tumor shrinkage - rough estimate of 30%. Worst part of the day was waiting in the exam room for an eternity until the surgeon arrived. He is awesome, so it was worth the wait. Really wish this thing would magically disappear so I won't have to sing the Ring of Fire song during the next phase of treatment :( Wishin' and hopin'!

Definitely!!!

And to start you off, here are my Lizzo-inspired lyrics (from "Good as Hell")...

xo,
JJ

I do my hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell

Woo child, tired of the preppin
Go on, drink another glug of it, keep it moving
Yes Lord, tryna get it all out
Colon’s gonna be clean, I got no doubt
Come now, come dry your eyes
You know you a star, you can touch the sky
I know that it's hard but you have to try
If you need advice, let me simplify

It’s your life your living, not cancer’s anymore
So when you done with the preppin’ and scopin’
You’re gonna walk your fine ass out that door

I do my hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell
Feeling good as hell
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell

Woo girl, need to kick off your shoes
Got to take a deep breath, time to focus on you
All the treatment, the long nights you been through
I got a bottle of Tequila I been saving for you
Boss up and take charge of your life
You can have it all with a little sacrifice
I know cancer did you wrong, we can make it right
So go and get that preppin done tonight

'Cause even if your ass is sore
You gonna be walking your fine ass out that door

And do your hair toss
Check my nails
Baby how you feelin'?
Feeling good as hell

Well my colonoscopy guy called a while ago. Said it's adenocarcinoma. I was really hoping for a much more interesting type of cancer, butt it is what it is. This will be my last post here on this thread. It's been entertaining to say the least :)
