A friend posted on FB regarding a new molecule called Glutor, that blocks a cancer cell’s ability to uptake and metabolize glucose and apparently works against 44 different cancers in vitro. I did a quick google search and this article popped up:

The original paper cited in the Cell Chemical Biology journal they also used CB-839 which is a Glutaminase Inhibitor which may be found in 6 Clinical Trials mostly having to do with Lung Cancer. Its all promising work, but very early stages using this combination of GLUT-1, and GLUT-3 transporter inhibition by Glutor with CB-839. This is all related to the Warburg effect and how cancer cells utilize glucose.

1/16 Iri, Erbitux and likely Avastin (Trial) CEA going >.
1/17 CEA up again dropped from Trial, Mets growth 4-6 mm in abdomen
5/2/17 Failed second trial, Hospitalized 15 days 5/11. Home Hospice 5/26, at peace 6/4/2017
