Severe Constipation Concerned

Hello All
I haven’t posted in a while as I was beginning to forget about cancer since I’m 3 1/2 years out and all has been good. Butt within the last week out of nowhere I have become extremely constipated. Last Monday during the day all BMs were normal then that evening I had 2 bouts of diarrhea. Ever since then I’ve become constipated. I finally did an enema last night and there was some successful, then of course today nothing happened again.

I am getting really concerned that the beast is back and that’s why I’m having these issues and I’m hoping I don’t need to go in for an early scan. My next Scan is scheduled in December. I don’t feel sick nothing hurts but I’m having problems going to the bathroom. Has anyone else been clear this long and had severe constipation for over for five days?

This is not a direct answer to your question, just a suggestion. If there was "some success" with the enema, try a glycerin suppository. They are OTC at the drugstore.
