To answer a previous question, I was a US Air Force Lt Col and F-16 fighter pilot. I really don’t want to look like I’m bragging, just doing something I always wanted to.

Live every single second this full. I love it and hate it for you at the same time. I’m the girl who grew into a woman that still cries and waves at the F-16 pilots as they taxi down the tarmac at air shows. The Dover one is the best. Thank you for manning that incredible piece of art for our country. I hope every single day you are able to live like this. And I prayed for a miracle that it lasts way longer than anyone thought.

Thanks SilverWedding, your post was powerful for me. Top Gun 2 is done filming, if not it’s close, due for release in almost exactly a year. I have friends in the industry, I’m willing to bet I have a pretty good chance of seeing it early.

As long as I’m sharing, this was taken 7 years ago, before I knew I was sick. Better times, obviously I’m the younger guy. I’m touching a 500 lb laser guided bomb.

Is that at Luke? I was born there! Spent my time in a WSA in Minot, ND as well as Elmendorf AK and an ANG base in Oklahoma City. I've spent plenty of time in a security forces truck counting the rivets on your plane.

It’s Tucson airport, Tucson Air National Guard base, I think they just renamed it Morris Air National Guard base or something similar. Our cops were great! The airport isn’t in the best part of town but they always had our backs and were very friendly, I never doubted their willingness to do their jobs.

I have flown at Luke AFB, and around the world for the most part.

I have a friends who works for a studio as an attorney, by chance, I mean we know who to ask and sometimes that’s half the battle.

Good luck getting an early screening; that would be the best!

I'm sure it's nothing to you but I'm going to take a 3-day RWD rally driving class at Dirtfish this fall. I have driven a Prius for 12+ years, but I grew up with a dad who loved fast cars, and I want to learn how to drive on other kinds of surfaces and play in the dirt. Everyone who knows me has been astonished that I would do something like this; I'm not a big risk taker at all. :) They haven't seen how my Prius complains about my lead foot though. >.> Husband doesn't get it but says "if you want to do it, do it!" 8) So I am doing it!
DX: sigmoid colon cancer 5/2018. 48 F
laparoscopic sigmoid resection (24 cm removed); no stoma.
7.5cm adenocarcinoma -- mod. diff.
1 noncontiguous tumor deposit removed; 0/31 lymph nodes
T3 pN1c M0
5/18 before surgery, CEA 11.2
6/18 began FOLFOX
7/18: CEA 1.9; added neulasta post infusion
9/18: CEA 2.8
10/18: 25% chemo reduction
11/18: CEA 1.8
7/19 CT scan clear

That’s a great idea! My initial idea with an exotic car was the racetrack in Fontana, Ca, you can rent them 5 laps at a time. Unfortunately it would have only given me about 1/2 an hour with the car.

No, that was a joke, maybe from a Geico commercial I saw once. I’ve never been paid to be in front of a camera. Don’t take these pics the wrong way, I don’t want to be that Facebook friend that’s fake as hell and try’s to portray a false life on the internet. These two pics above were from good times, good times I’ll remember forever. I’m still a forcefully retired fighter pilot with stage 4 cancer that won’t go away and given 6 months to two years.
