As benben said I think it depends on the contrast you are given.
I don't ask the names of what they are giving me, but only one time I was given the thick chalky contrast which gave me the runs as soon as the scan was over. I felt obligated to apologize to the staff because I used up all the TP in the bathroom and left a horrendous odour too
Other scans were with the clear contrast that just made me pee. A lot....
