First CT results are in..

Postby AmyG » Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:48 pm

I still only have the one met in my liver!!!

Chest is clear, nothing new in my abdomen, pelvis is clear. This was the first CT I've had since diagnosis. I wasn't stressing the outcome until I got the email that I had a new result in my chart.

Then I was all  OMFG

Now all I have to do is let the drugs do their job, so the surgeon can do his then I'll be footloose and cancer free. That's how this works, right?

Hopefully this is the first of many good scans to come.

I know right??!? I mean, who knows how long I even had my primary tumor. We know for sure there's been a met in my liver since August. That's at least 8 months that it has been hanging out being untreated and it's probably been there a lot longer. It's grown and my CEA has risen accordingly, but that's to be expected.

So I'm really pleased. Who knew being excited over a tumor was a thing.

I'm glad you guys get it!

Great news AmyG :) Wishing you a good response to chemo.
Btw, (You have no info in your signature) do you now if you have any mutations and if you are MSS or MSI? I presume that they tested your resected colon tumor..

I keep meaning to edit that signature.

I'm totally wild as far as KRAS/BRAF (and two others that I really can't remember) and MSS.
