i hate this new "normal." also, mom might have surgery a bit later planned so she would have 6 weeks off avastin as opposed to 5. but still, your surgery dates will still be pretty close. and you're so right, we should stay calm and enjoy this thing we were looking forward to. as opposed to reaching a borderline state of paranoia & "control freakness" (what's the word i'm looking for?); imagining potential disasters that might happen and diligently doing research to come up with rescue scenarios...
