Worried

Postby amber8579 » Mon Mar 11, 2019 6:22 pm

Hi all. I have been dealing with constipation fur about 4 weeks now. This weekend there was a lot of mucus in one of my stools and then I found bright red blood mixed in with one of my stools. I had an abdomen and pelvic CT scan that didn’t show anything, blood panels were normal. I’ve not had blood in my stool since that one time. Does this sound probable for colon cancer?

I highly recommend pushing for a colonoscopy to be safe. Could be internal hemroids, but the scope will give more info. You know your body best-if something doesn’t feel right keep searching for answers and for the right team to help you find them.
2/17-diagnosed stage IV Mets to liver
2/17-colon resection

8/17-liver resection and ablation
9/17-Folfox 4 rounds
12/17-CT showed mets to ovaries and new mets on liver
12/17-ovaries removed
3/18-clinical trial-pembro and cetuximab
3/19-tumors showing resistance.

We are not doctors. It would be irresponsible for us to speculate on your situation. You need to follow up with your doctor. Good luck.
