I am sorry to say, it does not sound normal.

Any signs of mets or lymph node involvement will require you and your spouse to seek another professional opinion. Not certain where you live, but most here would suggest a second opinion from a major cancer center like Dana Farber / Boston; Sloan Kettering / NYC; or MD Anderson / Houston.

If you share where you live others will chime-in for sure.

Best wishes,

I do not know much about cancer care in Turkey. I would go to your nearest cancer specialists and get a second opinion on the new lymph node involvement. Cancer centers in the USA have more experience with changing drug and treatment plans than most local hospital oncology departments.

Let us know what you find out or where best to go in Turkey... I am sure it will help others in your area with similar circumstances who read Colon Talk too.
