Hi Soccermom ,
I love it . What a creative solution . I love the one about cancelling subscription to someone’s issues . I remember saying to my GP that I sometimes felt as people popped over dropped there issues and headed out the door leaving me burdened . He looked up at me and said “ I am having the same issues “ we both burst out laughing as I am sure he spends his days doing just that .
The trip to New York was actually a Maths trip . Apparently there is a Maths museum!! Ha . The head of department has worked for about thirty years without one trip in the same school . So she made it a good one . I only said yes as I thought he would not get picked . But he is well behaved and got picked . My husband made it worse by sending me a link to his plane half way over the Atlantic. However it was a great trip . He is my baby !! Stu is my older son .
They both do well in Maths , on the other hand I sit at parents night and nod enthusiastically :D
Thanks for sharing . We sat and read them all last night .

So my favourite Soccermomism is "If plan A doesn't work there are 25 other letters in the alphabet".
Or duct tape.

I too am loving all the pictures and life stories that everyone is sharing.

My amaryllis has just barely started opening.....I'm always late to the party ;)

I have been wanting to learn how to put images in posts for a long time and finally got around to reading the instructions on page 1 of this thread. I needed to find an image and the one most handy on my computer was this!

You might be wondering why I have such a diagram. A Title IX case of mine (I represent a John Doe in a false sexual assault allegation case at a very prestigious college) will likely be going to trial this spring or summer. I wanted to find a diagram that might help the jury!

After I set up the above comments, I tried to submit this reply but I got the error: It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct. I could not post the reply without editing the [/img] command, but it had been correctly set up.

Weird.

Now that photo got my attention, pets. No one loves them more than the owner.
Here is a photo of my cat doing what he does best and sleep.

I tend to think that whilst I don't post as much as I did, that when I posted I shared my life, what was happening, and tried to enjoy myself a bit. If people who read the threads wanted to join in great, if they didn't like my threads they could always choose not to read them.

I like this thread, and I'm sure that there are a lot of others that read it from time to time.

Peanut,
I think I posted in another thread but I moved recently (that has been a positive and negative experience in itself which I should start another thread on). However we went from a 2 bedroom apartment (about 970 square feet) to a 3 bedroom house (about 2050 square feet).
He has his own room with a massive 7 ft 3 storied scratching pole, up the top floor he has another 2 storied scratching pole about 2 ft and he has his own sleeping mats in different locations in the house...
With Mrs Kiwi's help I cut his claws ever 2nd week, and unfortunately for him, I'm getting rid of the bigger scratching pole in the next council clean up this weekend. He will be down to one pole only.

Hubby & I were invited to an event at our lovely French neighbors house this evening. Music, cheese and vine tasting. These clay-‘towers’ with candles in them, are made by our neighbor.
I think it looked gorgeous !! :-)

Hi peanut, yes a lot of history in that old house. She does have her own kiln on premise and makes a lot of lovely ceramic. This ‘small room’, on the photo, we believe originally was an old big(!) bake oven. Thank you for well wishes <3
