Thank to you everyone for taking the time to reply with your support! My mother's suffering definitely gave me a lot of insight and empathy that I will use during my medical career.

Wishing you all the strength to overcome your battles to achieve the quality of life and health you wish for.

Thank you for sharing your/her story. It's what I needed tonight. May your mom remain forever NED and I wish you the very best in PA school. No doubt your mom's painful, excruciating journey to NED will certainly serve you well in the years to come.

Thank you for that. I think positive daily for my husband but his negativity still pokes through very rarely. Today his thoughts are on " Will this be my last Christmas?" His liver isn't ready for surgery and even at Cleveland clinic we don't have many answers and with 4 hours drive time today we better get some.
DH dx stage IV liver mets largest 6x6.4 cm
Colonoscopy/endoscopy/port place 5/29
4cm mass in splenic flexure
1st round FolFox 5/30
08/2018 new CT no new lesions, clear lungs, slight decrease in colon.

8/15/19 largest liver lesion 1.9x2.1
9/16/2019 OSU to proceed with surgery implant HAI and colon resection
11/19 resection of colon HAI placed
2/20 CEA back to 1000s, liver worse than when we began-start FOLFIRI
