It sounds like you're having a good response to chemo. Take it one day at a time. I wish you well and many more years with your baby boy.

Waiting for the results seems like forever!

I had a questionable CT scan in June, so the DR then ordered a PET scan for July. The PET was clear! That was a double worrisome wait!

I hope the DR let's you know soon your results and that gives you peace.

It can be so stressful. I am always a wreck regarding tests.
Sounds like you are feeling good and that is a great thing. I know how bad the worry can be. I always have to tell myself over and over not to ruin the “now” with worry because worry will not change the result.

I'm allergic to the contrast so I have the CT of my lungs and then wait til my turn to have the MRI of my abdomen. My doctor won't give me the results for a WEEK but the hospital will post the results about four days after and I used to have an oncologist friend in Australia read them for me. Now I've learned the most important thing is to look for the 'bottom line' which is sometimes at the top!

In almost 10 years I've had sooooooooooo many scans, then several years of PET scans until BC/BS refused more. Now I only have Medicare and they will limit the number of scans I can have.

Very few people are not worried about scans.
Stage III cc surgery 1/7/09. 12 tx FOLFOX
Stage IV PET = 1.5cm liver met. HR 4/11/12

14 years since dx and 11 years post liver resection.
Pronounced CURED and discharged by onc
