I want to scream this from the rooftops: bidets are awesome!

Postby horizon » Sat Aug 04, 2018 10:47 am

Look, I know this topic has been mentioned before, but if you're new here or are on the fence about getting a bidet I just want to say "DO IT". I am kicking myself thinking of all of the times that I've done colonoscopy preps and rubbed by butt raw (TMI?) when I could have just been getting way cleaner using water.

I thought bidets were expensive. WRONG
I thought I would need a plumber to install one because I am the least handy man on Earth. WRONG
I thought I didn't need one. WRONG

I can't believe how clean you feel and how much less toilet paper you use. I should have done this years ago!
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 13 years NED). Is this real life?

I'm a little concerned about cold water during winter but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it!

Mine is just a seat attachment but heats water too. Only needed a plug near toilet, worked with regular water supply.

Most work that way BUTT I found a bunch that will also use a hot water supply line if it is plumbed in.
Doing the reno meant I just roughed everything at the toilet and will be free to choose whatever option works best...
yeah I don't have enough to do so I thought I'd play property brothers as well
