I can't believe it's true, and I can hardly see to write this to you all. My heart is breaking. We've lost Anne. Our dear, sweet Beansmama.
As most of you know, she fought a long battle with cancer, which ended in November when Larry was removed and found to be already dead. She was officially cancer-free. So in my opinion, she DID beat this damn disease.
Recovery started out difficult, with quite a long stay in the ICU, but she went home and was recovering quite well. It was ultimately blood clots in the liver that took her from us, and it was very unexpected for everyone. Services will be held on Jan. 21 for her. I don't have details yet, but if I receive them and the family's okay, I will pass them on to you.
Like many of you, Anne found me when I was new here, picked me out of so many other posts and voices, and she was there to help me to face my journey. I never met her face-to-face, but she will always be a sister in arms to me, a fellow warrior who faced the fight with more bravery and heart than anyone I could understand. You may have left before me, but I will see you again some day. In the meantime, I will do my best to keep spreading the light that you never let die.
With all my heart,
Your Sister-In-Arms Tracy
