As long as there is life, there is hope. And there are advancements in medicine. However you should get clarification from you grandmother's physicians as signet ring cell (SRC) is a type of cancer histology and doesn't necessarily mean stage IV. Unless you are saying is both stage IV and has a signet ring cell type. SRC is very aggressive, but it also is known to respond well to chemotherapy. It creates a mucin that helps it spread. I researched somewhere that bromelain from pineapples is good at breaking down proteins.
