Question about colonoscopy

Postby Pemba » Tue Nov 07, 2017 6:30 pm

Hi everyone

I have a quick question, over the past four months I had multiple finger exams and two scopy ‘s to remove a benign polyp and have a cheek up.

My question is if the colonoscopy and finger examination would notice if there was problems in the really low rectal/anal area ?

Because from some time back now i had on and off problems with irritation and Pain around the recital opening/ just inside. It sometimes feels really sore and itchy. If my stools are “normal” I have no pain actually going and I don’t have any bleeding either, but can sometimes feel sore some time after my toilet visit. I can go a month without any problems at all and then suddenly it appears.

My doctor said hemorrhoids and I can also see a small purple pearl, but it don’t really hurt when I touch it.

I would say hemorrhoids also. Good luck,
