The Wait

Postby Noon32316 » Mon Oct 09, 2017 1:38 pm

Hello everyone,
I first joined the colon club family in Spring of 2016 and although I do not post often, I do visit nearly every day, several times a day, to read the information and advice you all share. Thank you for sharing and for putting into words so many thoughts and feelings that I struggle to articulate or understand.
My latest CT scan indicated nodal metastases. It could be something but hoping it's nothing. I had the biopsy procedure last Thursday and am now restlessly wandering through the agonizing hours of waiting for the results (such a lonely place to be but I know I'm not alone). I’m anxious but oddly calm as well - not quite sure what to do or think. Preparing for the worst but definitely praying for the best.
Healing hugs to all.

So sorry you have to go through this. When do you find out your results?
Will be saying prayers that it turns out to be nothing.
Hugs,

I feel for you. Waiting is the worst. Hoping for good results for you.
I'm just a dude who still can't believe he had a resection and went through chemo (currently 12 years NED). Is this real life?
