If it is too small, a PET scan may not be able to pick it up. For some people who do get a liver met, yes sometimes the CEA will go up. Maybe something to consider. When was your last CEA?
As others have said, may just have to wait it out. See if you Onc is willing to redo in 3 months vs 4.

I just did a blood test last week. My CEA was at 1.0. Three months before that, it was at 0.9... I don't think a 0.1 increase is anything to be concerned about, is it?
