Horrible Night(Updated)

Postby DarknessEmbraced » Tue Sep 26, 2017 8:47 am

I had a horrible night last night with cramping that had me doubled over, hot and shaking and dizzy. I had large soft bm, then smaller softer bm and then explosive diarrhea, I was in pain all night while sleeping. Today the pain is awful! My left side feels like it's bruised and even my t-shirt touching it hurts! If it doesn't stop I'm going to the ER. I hope it's not ischemic colitis again.

Thank you Jhocno!*hugs* I do too! I took buscopan but so far it doesn't seem to be doing much. I know that this isn't normal.

I'm so sorry for your pain, I hope you find relief soon or head to the ER if needed. The ER can cure you with their long waiting sometimes! :)

I've had colitis twice and know how horrid it is so hopefully it is something you ate just not agreeing with you.

Thanks Shana and yes they can. I had ischemic colitis December 29th 2015. At the time they didn't know what it was. I was hospitalized for a week. I just had some drinkable soup and some liquids. I don't really feel any better. Even with the buscopan and my regular dicetel. I'm going to take a shower and go from there. I'm really thinking of going.

Almost sounds like my daily bowel movements. Really it varies, but during treatment days 6 on follow along those lines.
I've only had mild pain though, couple times little pain on my right side, close to where I had a drain put in after surgery.

I hope you're feeling better.

I'm going to go to the ER because the pain hasn't gone away and it's getting worse again.

I have never had colitis. Is it the same pain you had last time? I'm glad you're going to the ER. We know when something isn't right. Four weeks after my resection I knew something was wrong, nothing in my bag for a couple hours and all of sudden pain. I tried walking but nothing. I went to the ER and it was a bowel blockage. I ended up in the hospital for 3 1/2 weeks. Please let us know how you are doing. I'm praying your pain subsides and you get some answers sooner than later. I feel bad, just after getting such good news about your scan. It never seems to end does it? Hugs.
