I have it on questionable authority that allowing a frozen fish to thaw in one's
bottom is a folk remedy for salmonella. The unfortunate gentlemen most likely
erred on the side of piscine recognition and grabbed a rainbow trout by mistake.

My new girlfriend's car got a flat tyre as we were on our way to see my parents, so I called them up
and said, "Sorry Mum, I'm going to be late, my girlfriend's got a puncture."

"Oh Darren!" she sighed. "I thought you had a real one this time."

This isn't a pure har har laugh but something many may relate to. I was diagnosed in March after some rectal bleeding. Was on the toilet a few minutes ago and noticed some blood on the tp. The rectal bleeding had stopped at around cycle three of pre adjuvant chemo so this sent a wave of panic from my butt to my brain. Something was wrong. Then I remembered I had LAR a week ago.

P.s. Bleeding was topical and not on my anus. Result of not having any bms for the last week and things getting dry and neglected (temp ost).
40 y/o male (now 46), kids 11 & 14.
Dx 3/16/17, rectal cancer s3,t3,n1,m0
PROSPCT trial (FOLFOX in lieu of chemorad)
FOLFOX 4/5/17 - 6/26/17
LAR 7/31/17, temp ileo
pathological complete response
Adjuvant chemo cancelled (IDEA Study)
Ileo reversed 9/25/17
NED
1 year scans - clear
2 year scans - clear
3 year scans - clear
4 year scans - clear
5 year scans - clear (considered cured)
