Sorry for butting in butt, an Onc should not be giving surgical opinions. The surgeon is the one to be giving that advice. If the surgeon says it's possible, believe the surgeon. They are medically trained to know that they are talking about.

I had replied:
"One thing I have seen experienced members here say is that Surgeons(!) are the ones who can say if a surgery is possible, that is not for an oncologist to decide (on his/her own). Do your doctors work as a team? "
