Stage 4 cured

Postby mungo » Tue Jun 13, 2017 2:24 pm

Can scarcely believe it but after just over 10 years, I have been discharged. Will continue to have routine colonoscopies but no more scanaxiety- which never got any better, even towards the end. I wanted to post one last time to give hope that sometimes things do work out, even with liver and lung involvement, as I remember vividly how very important it was to me to read positive stories, particularly in the middle of the night when it was hard to make myself believe there was any hope for me at all. This board was an utter lifeline to me and I wanted to thank all those who were around when I desperately needed support and information and to thank you all who continue to carry the baton now.
I wish you all the very best and the biggest, tightest hugs.
