I am so sorry grouseman for your loss. Your wife was lucky to have you by her side, caregiving and advocating for her, and loving her all throughout. May she rest in peace now, free from all pain.
DX 1/31/14 @ 33- SPS-T4a(invades visceral peri), N2a(6/106 LN), M1a(ovary) (Stage 4a) MSS; BRAF V600E
2/1/14-subtotal col, lost R ovary, temp ileo
3/14-9/14- folfox; sepsis
11/14-CT/PET: L ovary met, pelvic met, (?)ghost liver met(?)
12/14-folfiri -13 rds kept me stable from 3/15-6/15
8/15-HIPEC, NED
09/15- cea 0.9
05/16- recurrence in abdo wall and lymph nodes
01/17- pulmonary embolism
02/17- 1 wk radiation to abdo wall
08/16- on folfiri
01/18-folfox
11/18- Beacon trial-encorafenib & cetuximab

I am so very sorry for you loss. You have been such a big help to so many on this board, I hope you are able to come back when you are ready and let the people here that care about you help and support you. Take care of yourself!
DD to 81 year old father
dx 24/07/14 iv cc mets liver/lung
folifiri started 19/07/14
shrinkage of all mets
growth in the liver,started folfox/avastin 80% 13/01/16
reduced to 70% due to side effects 27/01/16
First scan on folfox shows shrinkage in lungs, but liver just stable
6 rounds of vectibix-fail. 3cm growth and new spots showing Waiting for panel recommendations

2018/20 low (1.0-1.4) CEAs/clean CTs: 4x2014, 6x2015-17, 3x2018-20
next June 2021!

Grouseman, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. You have been an amazing and wise advocate for her, and have taught many of us a lot. I pray for the peaceful rest for your wife, and many warm memories to sustain you.

Possible local recurrence in a spot or two on PET. Stable CT

So sad to hear of your wife's passing. Thank you for letting us know as we all were concerned. I'm sure that was a difficult post to write but I'm glad we can all be here for you to offer comfort and support in whatever way you need.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I don't come here much anymore but I do pop in from time to time to check on everyone. You were an amazing caregiver and wonderful advocate for your dear wife....for us all. She was very lucky to have you and she was amazing too....she was an inspiration to me. She is at peace now. Sending love, comfort and peace across the miles to you and all her loved ones xx

My thoughts are with you and your family, to include your Colon Talk family. I know many like myself have gained knowledge and wisdom of this dreadful disease and how to live with it through you and your wife's journey. Thank you for being open and sharing your experiences along the way.

D/H 47 years old, 10/2014, Stage IV M/CRC, nodes 12/15, para-aortic, 5 cm sigmoid resection, positive Virchow. KRAS mut, MSS, Highly Differentiated, Lynch Neg, 5FU/LV and Avastin 1 YR (Oxi for 5 months), Zeloda/Bev since 01/2016. 02/2019 recurrence para-nodes, back to 5FU/LV Oxy/Bev. It is working again. I am so very saddened in hearing of the passing of your beloved wife. I know she meant the World to you, as did my husband Mike to me. I hold you both in my heart & wish her God Speed to rest with the Angels above. (((HUGS)))). I want to Thank YOU once more for the friendship and sage advice you gave me regarding my loving hubby's situation. It meant the WORLD to both of us. Be well my dear friend.
