I haven't't heard of a waiting list for ablation procedures. Are you in Canada?
I've had microwave done because my radiologist said it was more affective for colon cancer. It's all just zapping the danger things. I didn'thave to take a break from chemo except for Avastin. I had to be off the Avastin for 6 weeks before and after.
My liver is almost healed now so soon I will know how affective it was.
Both procedures are pretty much the same except for what happens at the tip of the probe so let me know if you have any questions about the experience.
