Surviving Cancer: A Story of Hope

Postby WriterGirl1969 » Fri Feb 03, 2017 9:22 pm

Well, it's official.

The book I wrote last year about my personal journey through diagnosis, surgery and chemo is now up for sale on Amazon.
A special and heartfelt thank you to cptmac, lee, missmolly and beansmama for their contributions. As promised, I'll be sending you each private mail with info on how to get a free copy. It's only kindle edition right now, but as soon as I have print copy I'll be sure to touch base again so I can send you a signed print copy also.

To everyone here, thank you for giving me my power back when it was at its lowest, for keeping me going when I was lost, and for being truly amazing people. You are all my heroes.

Thanks everyone. :)

If you want a *.mobi or *.epub version of the book (able to be downloaded to kindle-type devices), please private message me with an email address and I will send you a free one rather than making you pay. :D

After all, if it weren't for all of you, I would have had a much different journey through all of this. You are free readers for life. ;-)

Quick update to let ya'all know the paperback option is now live on Amazon, so if you're not someone who reads on a tablet or phone, you can still grab a copy.

Those of you who I am sending complimentary copies to, I will be waiting to do a quick promotion and then pick up the copies for you all. :)

It looks like everybody is writing a book.
My friend has also described her endometrial cancer story:
https://www.amazon.ca/Reincarnation-Aft ... 08FQBTKKN/
58 yo male at diagnosis: T1bN0M0, 0/15 nodes, low grade/moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma
03/2016 colonoscopy: 2 small polyps removed in left colon; CEA = 1.3
04/2016 colonoscopy: caecum sessile 3.5 cm polyp piecemeal removed with kind of clear margins
05/2016 "prophylactic" laparoscopic right hemicolectomy - bleeding, leak, infection
06/2017 CT scan, colonoscopy OK; CEA = 1.6
A lot of funny stuff discovered by CT scans in liver, kidney, lungs, arteries, gallbladder, lymph node, pancreas
