RIP beautiful Cherie :(

Postby NZJay » Sat Jul 30, 2016 7:59 pm

Gutted to inform that Cherie's husband today posted of her passing. Cherie was a devoted wife, loving mother and the closest "virtual" friend I've ever had.
She was tough as nails and so supportive to me during my treatment, which followed hers by approximately 6 months in near-identical circumstances except hers eventually went terminal.
Cherie was an absolutely beautiful soul and I will miss her kind and hilarious words so much.
My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.

Went in for surgery for a cyst on my bladder, and they found colon cancer growing on the outside of the colon. Got to have two surgeries at the same time! Stage 3, one node involved.

Oh no, very sad news. My heart goes out to her sweet girl and husband and loved ones. She did it tough at times and went through a lot. Loved her spunk and sense of humour throughout all she went through. You will be missed dear Cherie - fly and paint with the Angels! ❤️

As a mom, this really packs a punch. I read a few of the posts from the link you sent. Looks like you two were really good friends, NZ. I'm so sorry that we all have to go through this wretched disease. The down side of finding such a great support group is in losing such good people. Nothing is sufficient to honor them as they should be honored.

Hugs and Prayers
