Cisplatin is not commonly used in Colorectal cancer treatment. So likely no one will have first hand experience with it here. But in the interim take a look at this Wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisplatin

Hope this is helpful until you can talk to the RN. It may have side effects similar to Oxaliplatin used in FOLFOX, but even with this everyone experiences a different spectrum of side effects. Some take it hard others its pretty tolerable.

My husband had several rounds of chemo that included cisplatin for his lymphoma treatment. He experienced side effects similar to those on oxiplatinum. Be aware for possible neuropathy symptoms.

Best wishes to you,

I had 8 rounds of carboplatin for my ovarian cancer. Cisplatin is also commonly used for ovarian cancer. Side effects are similar. I do not believe that it is as neurotoxic as oxaliplatin. I do have permanent neuropathy in my hands and feet but that is from the taxol. What I recall from the carboplatin is fatigue. I felt like I was hit by a bus about 2 days after infusion. I pretty much slept for 48 hours. And the metal taste was terrible.
