I'm sorry for being MIA again. This time, I misplaced my tablet when I went to the hospital.
Mrs Frenchie found it under a pile of papers today.

The surgery was not a success. This usually is a fairly simple procedure but the new stent is causing me problems. The old stent had dropped down a little, causing some of the bleeding and the phantom pain in my testicles. This new stent causes me pain in my kidney if I sit for more than a few minutes. It also causes me pain while standing and walking for any length of time.

This surgery will have to be re-done. It would be too limiting for me if it had to stay this way. I feel confident that this can be fixed. I am going to his office tomorrow. I don't want to go through this again during the holidays so surgery will have to wait till the new year. It was partially successful in that it reduced the excessive bleeding to a trickle. I'm happy about that.

Blood thinners are off the table forever. They could trigger another bout of excessive bleeding.

I continue to live on boost as I have no appetite whatsoever. I stock up whenever it comes on sale. Mrs Frenchie is home and has been cooking nice meals but I have not been able to appreciate them.

" Do you know your sperm count ? " the doctor asked. " I didn't know they were that clever "
I replied.

" I hurt my arm in several places "I said." Well, don't go there anymore " was his reply.

" When I press with my finger here it hurts ... And here ... And here. What do you think is wrong with me ? " You have a broken finger " he said.

I remember when we were hoping you made it to your birthday Frenchie. If my memory serves me correctly, that was back in June.

And your'e still here. I can't tell you how happy that makes me. I feel confident you will get your stent fixed and you, Mrs. Frenchie, and Peanut will be camping next year.

Best Wishes to you and your family, peanut

Greetings Frenchie, I'm so glad to read your post, and sorry your surgery did not go well, I'm sure it will be fixed in the New Year and i hope you can enjoy Christmas but it sounds like you will be standing, sitting, laying and be in multiple positions to ensure you don't feel any pain. Maybe you should write a song about it, it could be your next money spinner if it turns into the number One single for Christmas.

On the flip side its good that the excessive bleeding has reduced to a trickle.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Have you considered one of those electric lift chairs? They're spendy, maybe pick up a used one in the classifieds. Had one for my DH, but kept it because...who wouldn't want an electric recliner? My DSS borrowed it one time when he broke his ribs in a motorcycle accident. It was the only thing he could find a comfortable position, even to sleep in. They're big & comfy, totally adjustable, will stand you right up if need be. My grandson likes to play w/it sometimes when he is here.

BS, I had one of those for awhile. I gave it away. It was not comfortable for my legs. I was worried about the blood clots in my legs being too much in contact with the bottom of the chair. I got myself a top of the line Lazy Boy recliner and the contact points are much better for me now.

Peanut, I'm counting on you to make me smile today. Up to the challenge ??

I sold my motorhome to my brother with the stipulation that I get exclusive use of it until I can no longer use it. I wanted to keep this one in the family. It's the best motorhome I've ever owned and I have had many. Very economical on gas and a pleasure to drive.

My feeling of well being is diminishing slightly. I'm starting to feel my age. Winter is very hard on me. I am not a winter person. I am worried that I will become bedridden through lack of activity. In addition, these new restrictions because of the new stent limits what I can do.

My last goal was to ring in the new year. Since that looks like a done deal, I am now aiming to celebrate another birthday in June. It's going to be a tough road ahead.

I don't know about you Frenchie, butt this made me chuckle. There's a Canadian company called Vitality Air, that is making a fortune selling bottled air in Beijing, China. Since the air in Beijing is so bad the Chinese are snapping up these jewels for around $15-$20 per canister.

That's one we should have thought of. Hurray for Canada!

A man sent his friend a cryptic Christmas card. It said: A B C D E F G H I J
K M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z. The recipient puzzled over it for weeks,
finally gave up and wrote asking for an explanation. In July he received the
explanation on a postcard: "No L."

Santa's Bad Day
The Birth of a Tradition

One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for his annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule.

Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.
Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys.

So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor, and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider pot, and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw end of the broom. Just then the doorbell rang, and irritable Santa trudged to the door. He opened the door, and there was a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.

The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?"
Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.
