Rest in Peace Carmen

Postby CRguy » Sat Nov 28, 2015 2:28 am

It is with great sadness that I share the news here about the passing of our very dear friend Cb75.
http://catholic-cemeteries.com/book-of-memories/2302235/Belcredi-Carmen/obituary.php

Carmen dealt with many serious issues during her disease, and through it all maintained a grace and dignity which humbles me.
She shared everything about her experiences in the hopes it would help and challenge others to keep on seeking answers.
She supported all who journeyed with her and despite her own serious challenges, never had a bad word to speak about anyone, whether they agreed with her or not.

She was a positive force on this forum and in my own life experience.
My sincere condolences to her family for their tragic loss.

This forum and this world is a smaller and sadder place without her.
It was my honour to have known you Carmen.

Love Peace and Harmony

What an incredible loss of a fantastic human being and member of our community. She was so helpful to others no matter what issues she was dealing with in her own health. That was a beautiful tribute CRguy -

This is not fair. I will miss her. We messaged a number of times- usually me asking questions and her helping me. We shared things in common- young, same profession, same area of Ontario. I looked up to her as she had been dealing with mCRC longer than me. My heart aches. Condolences to her husband and daughter.

Carmen was a fine person and should be remembered as the pioneer here, leading the way on Rolle's type of laser surgery.
watchful, active researcher and caregiver for stage IVb/c CC. surgeries 4/10 sigmoid etc & 5/11 para-aortic LN cluster; 8 yrs immuno-Chemo for mCRC; now no chemo
most of 2010 Life Extension recommendations and possibilities + more, some (much) higher, peaking ~2011-12, taper chemo to almost nothing mid 2018, IV C-->2021. Now supplements
