This is both wonderful news and at the same time, a little heartbreaking. Voxx was waiting for this to get approved. Damn.

So, with all the lingo and brain not working at the moment, would this help or not for me in the future if needed.

Sorry, brain can't read or process atm?

Ugh, I feel like such an idiot! Short term memory is on big time right now.

Dk, can you help us non-technical folks interpret?

First paragraph say approved for RAS (kras?) Wild.

But later on, it says all subgroups of study showed benefit, even kras with mutations.

So, is this just for kras wild? Or also good for kras mutant?

Thanks a so much for sharing and interpreting. :)
Stage 3 cc - dx Jan '14 age 53, cea 2.9
t2n2m0, KRAS mutant, MSS
Folfox Feb - Aug '14
Nov '14 cea 27.7 -2 liver masses
Dec '14 left lobectomy and HAI
Jan '15 FUDR and FOLFIRI
Aug '15 fudr done, liver clear, add avastin for lungs. Cea 4.3
Feb '16 CEA rising
May '16 2 wk break then drop Iri for 6 weeks.
Jul '16 cancer grew, constricted main bile duct. Stent inserted. On break till jaundice clears. CEA climbing. Doing reduced Folfox. Allergic to Oxali.
Sep'16 chemo failed. Trial or hospice?

Thanks for posting that link Chris. I think this Fight CRC link does a very good job of explaining. In the first paragraph of the link I originally posted they only referred to KRAS-wid type in regards to the drugs previously failed by the trial participants, TAS-102 was approved for all KRAS wild or mutated.

Yes Nik - you should be able to take it! MSS is fine. TAS-102 is a new form of chemo, not an immunotherapy where MSS is having trouble (So far!!)
