mixed feelings about this update...

So sorry to hear about pukalania dear husband passing, and didn't know whether to post this or not ....butt I had perfectly clear scan today. Doc is amazed. Port is coming out. I share this good newswith my fellowfighters and caregivers not to gloat but to keep that seed of hope alive. It is the first time in seven years I've gone twelve months without that damn cancer coming back.

Aug '15 fudr done, liver clear, add avastin for lungs. Cea 4.3
Feb '16 CEA rising
May '16 2 wk break then drop Iri for 6 weeks.
Jul '16 cancer grew, constricted main bile duct. Stent inserted. On break till jaundice clears. CEA climbing. Doing reduced Folfox. Allergic to Oxali.
Sep'16 chemo failed. Trial or hospice?

That is great news! Thank you for sharing. We all need hopeful news. And we need to share in each others triumphs as well as the difficult and many times tragic times.
