At my last treatment my CEA markers were up to 380. I had a scan today to see what is going on. Waiting for the results. I hope they come in before Friday. I have lab and treatment on Monday. We will have to discuss what treatment to do next. Folfox,folfri with Erbitux done 2 times. 5fu was discontinued on the last treatment of folfri due to constant diarrhea. That resolved those issues but my markers started climbing. Does xeloda cause the diarrhea like 5fu? Need some swinging chickens and prayers for our next steps. Thanks.

I had a terrible problem with diarrhea while on Xeloda. There are measures you can take to alleviate the problem. Have you tried tincture of morphine? That was the next recommended measure for me. I finished treatment before I needed.
