Thank you Nik. I can always use a hug.
I miss your funny posts and those beautiful songs .
Peanut, I miss our banter. I have been busy with medical issues and am not quite as lighthearted these days. Please give me a good laugh today if you can.

I am disappointed with Diladid. I still have break through pain in my left leg.
I can emagine how intense that would be if I wasn't on Diladid. I will look into
Increasing the dose.

We have had almost a week of crappy weather. It doesn't help my mood any.
The forecast looks good for next week. The last dump of snow they had this week
in the mountains should be melted by then. There will undoubtedly be more to
come. It is still quite early in the season.

My nephew Jay would fly out instead of driving if I needed him sooner. I still have options.
I am holding my own. I am very independent so that is my plan C.
I am spending the summer in the mountains come hell or high water. The campground has
all the amenities that I need. If I have too, I will have groceries and such delivered by
friends or family.

Frenchie, your determination is very admirable. You have had so many obstacles placed in your way, butt you have dealt with them. If plan C is what you need to get to the mountains, then plan C it is. Hope you are not in terrible pain. I'll see what I can find for jokes this morning.

Probably won't get rid of all of the pain, but hopefully most of it to the point of being manageable. With pain meds often times is a matter of following consistent dosing as prescribed on the bottle for a few days. Hope you don't need a higher dose, but definitely get in touch w/the doc if you find consistency is not working.

Did you get a good look @ the campsite yet? Looking forward to a pic!

Hang in there!

People in the airline industry aren't all serious...

1. On a Continental Flight with a very "senior" flight attendant crew, the pilot said, "Ladies and gentlemen, we've reached cruising altitude And will be turning down the cabin lights. This is for your comfort and to enhance the appearance of your flight attendants."

2. Heard on a Southwest Airline flight. "Ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to smoke, the smoking section on this airplane is on the wing and if You can light 'em, you can smoke 'em."

3. On landing, the stewardess said, "Please be sure to take all of your belongings. If you're going to leave anything, please make sure it's something we'd like to have."

4. "There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane"

5. "Thank you for flying Delta Business Express. We hope you enjoyed giving us the business as much as we enjoyed taking you for a ride."

6. As the plane landed and was coming to a stop at Ronald Reagan, alone voice came over the loudspeaker: "Whoa, big fella. WHOA!"

7. After a particularly rough landing during thunderstorms in Memphis, a flight attendant on a Northwest flight announced, "Please take care when opening the overhead compartments because, after a landing like that, sure as hell everything has shifted."

8. From a Southwest Airlines employee: "Welcome aboard Southwest flight 245 to Tampa. To operate your seat belt, insert the metal tab into the buckle, and pull tight. It works just like every other seat belt; and, if you don't know how to operate one, you probably shouldn't be out in public unsupervised."

9. "In the event of a sudden loss of cabin pressure, masks will descend from the ceiling. Stop screaming, grab the mask, and pull it over your face. If you have a small child traveling with you, secure your mask before assisting with theirs. If you are traveling with more than one small child, pick your favorite."

10. Weather at our destination is 50 degrees with some broken clouds, but we'll try to have them fixed before we arrive. Thank you, and remember, nobody loves you, or your money, more than Southwest Airlines."

11. "Your seat cushions can be used for flotation; and, in the event of an emergency water landing, please paddle to shore and take them with our compliments."

12. "As you exit the plane, make sure to gather all of your belongings. Anything left behind will be distributed evenly among the flight attendants. Please do not leave children or spouses."

Hi Frenchie, cool pictures, your trailor looks very comfortable and loads of hidden cubby holes for your stash sweet,

Hope you are doing a bit better right now with your pain management and your legs, arm and eye are obeying Old Frenchie.

I like the sound of your nephew flying down that means he can be there on the road with you much quicker, I think you should tell him to fly down asap so the Party can really get started.

Well wishing you strength and sending loads of Love and Kisses from London my Friend :)

We are told that dilaudid only last about 2 hours. My husband is taking 12 mg every 3 hours. He hates fentanyl and has refused the patch after a bad experience. He tried a long acting morphine and it worked and he was able to decrease dilaudid, but it gave him horrible migraines so he back to just dilaudid. I don't remember reading it, but what is causing the pain, do they know?

I have teardrop trailer envy!

Frenchie, didn't they give you something for break-through pain? For me, I have oxycontin for continuous pain management and oxycodone for break through. (Fortunately not having to take it for now.)

The trailer pictured was custom built from
the ground up. We had a fibreglass mold
built exactly like it for retail trailers.

I pulled it with the pickup or my 56
Oldsmobile. We attracted our fair share
of attention while on the road.

The odd shape mountains are called Voodos.
They are formed by sandstone erosion.

The goose was shot in Wawa Ontario. Their
Migration pattern has them flying overhead by
by the thousands.

That was my last motorcycle. My hands could
on longer handle the controls after I started chemo.

I thought that was taken in WAWA, I was there 18 years ago or so on a hunting trip. Wawa is a very beautiful area.

Now, about the Diladid. I will talk to my
Palative oncologist about increasing the
dose. I have lots of Percocet on hand. I
have been reluctant to take it along
With the Diladid for fear of overdosing.
I will give it a try when having break through
Pain next time it happens.
