Sharon, I will send your girls postcards
periodically so they have a few more
in their box. Others on here might want
to get in on this.

Sharon's girls are collecting post cards in a
little box. They would be thrilled to get
more.

Hi Frenchie. Hope you don't have to much snow or rain there. Down in the Colorado foothills, we are getting lots of these guys, broadtail hummingbirds.

I always like the fact that they are so fierce for being so small. By the end of May, the hummingbirds are going through more than 2 feeders per per day. Each feeder holds 4 cups of sugar mixture (4 cups water to 1 cup sugar) They can get grumpy with me when I don't fill their feeders quickly enough.

Sometimes Mr. S and I discuss what particular bird we would be if we had to choose. I always go with some sort of hummingbird, and he always goes with hawk. What can you say. men.....

I am experiencing tremendous pain at the moment.
It is caused by the Dex.
I have been in pain like this since yesterday. It is almost unbearable.
My legs and knees won't support me at all. They just hurt like hell.
More troublesome and alarming still, I can't open my right eye at all.
It just leaks water and feels like someone poked me in the eye. That has been going on since
yesterday as well .

I am waiting for daylight. I will have to drive myself to the hospital. If I try to open
my eye, I get an instant migraine. I can't ignore that. This is now serious stuff that has
to be addressed immediately .

I may be in emergency for awhile. It is the long weekend here. Emergency will
Already have their hands full. I am just waiting for a lull in the pain so I can get
dressed and be ready. I can feel it getting worse by the hour.

Hey Frenchie, get down there and let them figure this out so you can get back on the road. I wonder if there's something that can be done about the nasal met? as that's probably what's causing the eye problem. Good luck and let us know.

Well, the pain is now under control.
I am now on Diladid. It is the only thing
that will touch this pain.
It is extremely strong medication. It is 100 times
stronger than morphine !!

The doctor thinks it's cancer progression and not
the Dex. I don't know what to think anymore. I just take it as it comes.

I spent a lot of money getting things to this point. Now I am determined to
enjoy the fruits of my labour.

I can not legally drive while on this medication. That really throws a wrench
into things.
I will have someone drive the car and the motorhome to the campground
and set things up.

I will get myself an electric scooter to drive around in while at the campground.
This is not going to stop me, but it will slow me down, no doubt.

Frenchie, mon ami, you are one of a kind. I am visualizing you zipping about the campground in your scooter with the majestic Canadian Rockies in the background and Peanut in your lap.

Hi Frenchie,
glad the pain is under control, wow 100 times more powerful than Morphine.
I can understand why you can't legally drive on the stuff, not to worry, it's just a hiccup in the Travel plans, I know you will figure a way round things.
Sending you strength, Love and Kisses my Friend
