Good morning dear.
My legs are killing me this morning.
They woke me up again. I have things to
do today that are important. I need them to
work today. I can but a little weight on
them now once in a while. That means
they will support me eventually today.

This is my new normal for now. I hope
they don't get worse. The pain is terrible
when both hurt at the same time like
today. I don't consider this cancer pain.
It started when I went on Dex.

I am more worried about you than me
at the moment. I know my destinay
to some extent. You have been cast back
Into a nightmare ! You have to re-live the
worst of what cancer has to offer.

I feel your frustration and anguish at your
Situation.
Please keep us in the loop. A lot of people
care about you on this form, including me !

Well, I have decided to go into town and raise
a little hell.

I am not much of a drinker but I like good
music. Let's see what I can find. I am going to
check out the local watering holes tonight.
My legs are working well tonight, I want
to take advantage of that.

I have this urge to speed tonight. I am in an impish mood. I want to get away with something. I like the rush speed gives me. I think
I'll chance it tonight. I will see if the locals
are on the ball in their neck of the woods.

My insurance renewal does not come up
until late September. What are the chances
of me being around for the additional
premiums caused by my speeding tickets ??

I guess we are about to find out. I am not
paying for another ticket either. They can take
me to court !!

Frenchie is becoming an outlaw !

I am just getting even for all the ones that
I did pay. Mrs Frenchie gets more tickets than
I do. I know where they hide out closer to home.
She usually gets nabbed by photo radar, no demerits that way.

It is a lot like gambling. The odds are better
on the road than in a casino. I guess I am about
to find out !!

Dearest Frenchie,

Please keep yourself and those driving around you safe while you are being impish. Speed kills, and far too often kills the innocent. Be careful and have a great day!

Love you, Frenchie!

Pollo,
I am so relieved to hear that I am not
the only one experiencing these weird
effects while on Dex.

In the evening I don't give them a second
thought.

My left hand is getting worse
unfortunately. It does weird stuff off
and on all day now. It is very inconvenient.
Thank goodness it is not my right. That would
be a major delima.

Our highways are extremely safe.
The speed limit is about 70 to 75 miles per
hour on average. They are also mostly twinned,
dead straight and flat for miles and miles
until you reach the foothills.
It is almost impossible not to speed. That is
why the highway is so heavely patrolled.

I did not speed both ways today. Way to many
cops on the road. I saw several, and they all
had someone pulled over. A few speeding bikers
In the mix for good measure.

They would have made some good coin off of me
last night. I was in that kind of mood. By the
time I got to town, I was smiling ear to ear.
I had gotten away with something !
I was a bit more careful on the way back.
I did not want to push it as much as on the
way in, I'd had my big rush by then.

I know that what I did sounds immature
to some.
It's these little crazy things that
give me my mojo back.

When I do silly stuff like speeding, I get a big rush. Getting away with it gives me twice the rush !
Not being caught by an army of highway
patrol with their latest equipment is a
big feat in itself !

I need to feel like I am still part of the human
race, doing what I would do if I wasn't sick.
I don't want to change my complete lifestyle
just because I'm sick.

The cops want you on photo radar, not by the side of the road. That way, there is no fuss and
you just pay the fine. It was usually under
2 hundred bucks so nobody bitches and
just pay up.
Now, with the new fine structure the
courts will soon be packed to the brim.
Now it will be worth to take time off to
fight that ticket.

The weather will be awful starting today.
Rain and snow in the mountains. Lots of snow.
This is still quite early in the season in
the Rockies. You are at a higher elevation.
It will take another month before the risk
of a major storm passes.

I took advantage of this crappy weather
today. I went to this huge complex in a
little farming town in southern Alberta.

It has water slides jutting outside the sides
of It. There is a sauna, hot tub, whirle pool,
Heat room, pool and some other stuff.
I find it a little pricey. It cost $6.25 per
visit for a senior. Well worth the price if
you were to use everything in here.
I just came to use the hot tub and sauna.
Still, I will be back. Nice place.

I had leg pain on and off most of the night.
It woke me up from what little sleep
I did manage to get.
That is not a good way to start the day.

Surprisingly, they are holding me up
already. They are just painful and weak.
I have to stay inside until I can trust them.

Still, I am grateful. I needed my legs
yesterday and they held out all day
long. Maybe that is why they are so painful
today.

I do have a bit of alarming news. My right
hand is acting up now !
It has only happened a few times but it
has me worried. That would affect my driving.
I just had my drivers licence renewed so
legally, I can drive for another 5 years.

I am right handed, that could cause me a lot
of aggravation. My left hand acts up at least
3 or 4 times a day now. Thankfully, it has
only been lasting about half an hour to
an hour so far. It twists all wierd like and
just starts to hurt.

Time will tell. I will deal with that when
I need to. One crisis at a time.

Aside from these side effects, I may have developed diabetes. I am only talking to
my pallative oncologist by phone. I don't want to see her or anyone else anymore. I am being stubborn, I know.
Everything is my way or the highway now.

I am not going to worry about anything
until it shows some physical form of activity.
I am dealing with other things that require
more attention, like my left kidney. I am
Not complaining but that problem is not
resolved yet either.
I never drank water or juice much. Now
I have a glass at hand almost all the time. I also
pee liked there is no tomorrow.

I am up for another challenge. I still
feel invincible. I have overcome so much
to get to where I am today.

I was knocking on heavens's door a couple months ago, now I am full timing !

I have to say it again:

Cancer, is that all you've got ???
Hit me with your best shot,
FIRE AWAY !!

Good Afternoon Frenchie,

Well it sounds like a mixed bag of things happening right now with you, but you are handling everything amazingly.

You sometimes sound exactly like my Husband, he argued and disagreed with his doctors till almost his last breath, it was so funny to listen to as he was the best debater and nearly always won the point.

He was even explaining to the District Nurse how she should dress the draining tube in his stomach, as he said she wasn't doing it properly.

I hope your legs hold out today and your hand doesn't mess you about too much, but most of all I hope you can be pain free so you can enjoy your road trip.

Well I hope you have a great day, Love and Kisses from London
